Wing-tip wheels protect the wing belly from scratches and bumps during takeoff and landing on paved runways or rough terrain.
The wheels can be installed on 1:4, 1:3.5, 1:3, 1:2.5, 1:2 scale models.
They are very light and have very low drag due to their shape.
A mounting plate is included for installation. This allows the plate to be glued to the wing first, so that there is good centering for later gluing of the wheel.
For bonding, it is sufficient for the wing to be free of grease. It is not necessary to sand the paint.
